A Brief Illustrated Guide to Understanding Islam is the first Islamic book which I read in English and even though I am a Muslim by birth and virtues alhamdulillah, I came across many things in this book which I was ignorant about.
It is indeed a full illustration to understanding our religion "Islam" and it is a guide for those who have doubts about Islam. If you are willing to debate with nonmuslims then this book is a good start to begin with

God supported His last Prophet Muhammad with many miracles and much evidence which proved that he is a true Prophet sent by God. Also, God supported His last revealed book, the Holy Quran, with many miracles that prove that this Quran is the literal word of God, revealed by Him, and that it was not authored by any human being. .


أيّد الله سبحانه وتعالى ودعم نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بالعديد من المعجزات التي تؤكد نبوّته صلى الله عليه وسلم.
كما دعم الله سبحانه وتعالى كتابه الكريم بالعديد من المعجزات التي تثبت بأنه كلام الله سبحانه وتعالى الذي أنزله (على نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم) ولم يقم بتأليفه بشر.

(1) The Scientific Miracles
in the Holy Quran

The Quran is the literal word of God, which He revealed to His Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. The Holy QuranIt was memorized by Muhammad , who then dictated it to his Companions. They, in turn, memorized it, wrote it down, and reviewed it with the Prophet Muhammad . Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad reviewed the Quran with the Angel Gabriel once each year and twice in the last year of his life. From the time the Quran was revealed, until this day, there has always been a huge number of Muslims who have memorized all of the Quran, letter by letter. Some of them have even been able to memorize all of the Quran by the age of ten. Not one letter of the Quran has been changed over the centuries.

(1 الاعجاز العلمي في القرآن الكريم:

القرآن الكريم هو كلام الله سبحاه وتعالى الذي أطلعه على بيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم م خلال الملك جبريل عليه السلام...

تم حِفظ القرآن الكريم من قبل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم الذي قام بتعليمه/قرآته على الصحابه عليهم السلام... بعدها قام الصحابة بحفظه وكتابته ثم مراجعته مع البي عليه الصلاة والسلام...

بالاضافة الى أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قام بمراجعته مع جبريل عليه السلام مرة كل سنة وفي السنة الأخيرة من حياته عليه الصلاة والسلام قام الحبيب بمراجعته مرتان مع جبريل عليه السلام.
من بداية زول الوحي (على الحبيب عليه الصلاة والسلام) وحتى يومنا والمسلمون يًقبلون الى حفظه كاملا... بعظهم استطاعوا حفظه في سن العاشرة (بل منهم من حفظه في السنة الأولى والثانية من أعمارهم...سبحان الله).

ولا حرف من القرآ الكريم تم تحريفه على مد العصور ... (لم يُحرّف القرآن الكريم أبداً)

A) The Quran on Human Embryonic Development:

In the Holy Quran, God speaks about the stages of man’s embryonic development:

(We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)... 1 (Quran, 23:12-14)

يذكر الله سبحانه وتعالى في كتابه الكريم مراحل تطوّر الجنين البشري (سبحان الله) :

قال تعالى:
{وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإنسان مِن سلالة مِّن طِينٍ* ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاهُ نُطْفَةً في قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ* ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ ...*)

Literally, the Arabic word alaqah has three meanings: (1) leech, (2) suspended thing, and (3) blood clot.

في اللغة العربية كلمة علقة تعني:
1. العلقة (نوع من الديدان يمتص الدم من الحيوان أو الاسان)
2. علق الشئ بـ - تعلّق بـ.
3. تجلّط الدم

In comparing a leech to an embryo in the alaqah stage, we find similarity between the two as we can see in figure 1. Also, the embryo at this stage obtains nourishment from the blood of the mother, similar to the leech, which feeds on the blood of others.

عد مقارنة الجنين في مرحلة العلقة بالعلقة الدودة نجد تشابه/تطابق في الشكل كما هو موضّح في الصورة...

كذلك الجين في هذه المرحلة يتغذى على دم أمه كما هو الحال مع العلقة الدودة التي تتغذى على دماء الغير...

The second meaning of the word alaqah is “suspended thing.” This is what we can see in figures 2 and 3, the suspension of the embryo, during the alaqah stage, in the womb of the mother.

المعنى الثاني لكلمة علقة هي "تعلُّق" أي شي متعلّق وهذا ما يمكننا أ راه من الصورتين "تعلّق الجنين" خلال هذه المرحلة برحم الأم...

The third meaning of the word alaqah is “blood clot.” We find that the external appearance of the embryo and its sacs during the alaqah stage is similar to that of a blood clot. This is due to the presence of relatively large amounts of blood present in the embryo during this stage (see figure 4). Also during this stage, the blood in the embryo does not circulate until the end of the third week. Thus, the embryo at this stage is like a clot of blood.

المعنى الثالث لكلمة علقة هو "تجلّط الدم"

نجد أن المظهر الخارجي للجنين وتكيّساته في هذه المرحلة "العلقة" تشبه تجلّط الدم...

السبب في ذلك كثرة الدم المتواجد في الجنين في هذه المرحلة...

بالاضافة الى أن الدم في هذه المرحلة لا يتحرك/يسري حتى الاسبوع الثالث...

لذلك فان الجنين في هذه المرحلة يشبه تجلّط الدم...

So the three meanings of the word alaqah correspond accurately to the descriptions of the embryo at the alaqah stage.

اذا فالمعاني الثلاث لكلمة "علقة" (المذكورة في القرآن الكريم) تتماشى (بدقة) مع وصف الجنين في مرحلة العلقة...

The next stage mentioned in the verse is the mudghah stage. The Arabic word mudghah means “chewed substance.” If one were to take a piece of gum and chew it in his or her mouth and then compare it with an embryo at the mudghah stage, we would conclude that the embryo at the mudghah stage acquires the appearance of a chewed substance. This is because of the somites at the back of the embryo that “somewhat resemble teethmarks in a chewed substance.”

المرحلة التالية (للنطفة) والتي ذكرت في الآية الكريمة هي المضغة... وتعني في اللغة العربية المادة الممضوغة...

فاذا أخذ أحدهم علكة ومضغها ثم قارنها بصورة الجنين في هذه المرحلة لوجد أن شكل الجين يشبه قطعة العلكة الممضوغة

وذلك بسبب النتوءات التي تظهر على ظهر الجين والتي تشبه آثار الأسنان عند مضغ الشئ...

How could Muhammad PBUH have possibly known all this 1400 years ago, when scientists have only recently discovered this using advanced equipment and powerful microscopes which did not exist at that time?

كيف لمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم أ يعلم بكل هذا قبل 1400 سنة بينما العلماء لم يكتشفوا هذه (الحقائق العلمية) الا مؤخراً باستخدام أحدث وأقوى الأجهزة المجهرية والتي لم تكن موجودة في زمن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم؟!؟!؟!؟
